Trip 1.
Saturday 24th May, Oban via Castle Kennedy.
Our ever popular favourite - Oban.
Our ever-popular favourite – Oban. We will again be calling in at Castle Kennedy outbound and this year we will be going to the Castle Kennedy Gardens Tea-Rooms for refreshments.
Our friendly host at Oban, Paul Keegan will arrange fuel whilst we lunch at the Lochnell Arms.
Return leg is via Kirkbride and back over (or around) the lakes to Squires Gate.

Trip 2.
Saturday 26th July Sandown Isle of Wight via Shobdon.
A new venue, that we had planned for last year but due to great British weather was a wash out
Flying out via Shobdon for bacon butties (what else?) we visit the lovely grass airfield of Sandown to take lunch al-fresco at the Aviator Restaurant in the truly marvellous club-house of Sandown Airport.
Return via Gloucester Airport and home for tea and buns.

Trip 3.
Saturday 30th August, Old Buckenham via Retford.
Visit Old Buckenham in Norfolk, wartime home to the B24 Liberators of the 8th US Army Airforce‘s 453rd Bomb Group.
Where James Stewart, Hollywood legend and B24 Bomber pilot, was once based!
We will be eating at the Gamekeeper pub down the road in the village.
Outbound via Retford (Gamston) for bacon butties – what else?

Contact the Flying School and let them know which trips you are interested in, in order to get your name on the list.
Ensure your name and contact number are completed on the forms held in the clubhouse and we will endeavour to find you a place.
Due to popularity , we cannot guarantee you a place, it is first come first served so get in there quick.
Student pilots are warmly welcomed on the fly-outs and we hope to have an instructor on some of the flights, so why not join us to see just what your PPL is really for!
