Directions
By Road
- At the end of the M55 motorway follow the left hand filter lane at the roundabout.
- Follow the road for approximately 2 miles, crossing 1 roundabout and 4 sets of traffic lights.
- Continue on the main road, please watch your speed as there are active speed camera.
- After the 4th set of lights, Morrison's supermarket will be visible on your left and Westair Hangars are almost next door, easily recognisable by the blue and white signage on the front of the building.
- Continue on to the next set of traffic lights turning left into the Airport entrance.
- The road doubles back to the left, past the "Air Balloon" Wacky Warehouse Pub.
- Follow the road with the street railings on your left.
- As the road turns right, follow the road going straight ahead, signed for Westair and 'Long Stay' Parking, into the entrance for the long stay car park.
- At the barrier, push the lit button and take a ticket. Retain the ticket, as it is needed to lift the exit barrier. Staying in thte car park is FREE.
- Continue straight on, parking in a convenient space.
By Rail
Squires Gate Lane station is approximately five minutes walk from the airport. Regular trains run direct to Preston train station. From Preston there are regular rail links to the rest of the UK.
By Air
For those of you who may choose to fly-in, the following shows the layout of Blackpool Airport. Westair Flying Services Ltd. is located by holding point Bravo 3.
