Glass Conversion

If you have only flown aircraft with conventional instruments and systems then the Diamond DA40 can be a steep learning curve. Our Glass Cockpit Introduction course is an ideal way to get familiar with the systems of the Diamond DA40 and DA62.
Using our Garmin G1000 procedural trainer, your instructor will cover the use of the avionics, Diamond start up procedures and use of the automatics. You will then be able to practice on the simulator before flying the real thing and getting some hands on experience in the Diamond DA40 before commercial training courses.
The course can be either done early on during your hour building, which will allow you to hire the Diamond DA40 for solo use (subject to a check out with an instructor) or towards end of the Hour Building, just before the Commercial Pilot Training.
