Westair Flying School currently operate two DA40NG and one DA50 aircraft on our fleet, giving you unrivalled  access to some of most modern, safe and capable aircraft in the North of England and are particularly well suited to advanced flying courses.

Instrument Rating Restricted (IR(R))
Our DA40 aircraft are the perfect option if you are looking for an aircraft to complete the IRR. Both aircraft are equipped with Garmin G1000 avionics, making instrument flying a breeze thanks to the user-friendly interface and situational awareness available to the pilot. Operating from Blackpool Airport gives us easy access to uncontrolled airspace and a range of instrument approaches for effective training.

Conversion Training
Looking to fly something a little different or to stretch your legs on some longer trips? The DA40 is a great aircraft if you are looking to do some touring. We can offer conversion training to qualified pilots of all levels. All conversion training is bespoke, if you would like more information, our instructors are more than happy to help advise you!
